While Ventura Coast Milk Bank is working towards becoming a nonprofit member milk bank accredited by the Human Milk Banking Association of North America (HMBANA), we have partnered with University of California Health Milk Bank to collect, process, and distribute milk.

Steps to Becoming a Milk Donor

  • Online Application

  • Online Questionnaire

  • Phone Interview

  • Online Consent Forms

 Milk Donor FAQs

  • Most healthy, lactating individuals with a surplus of milk are eligible for donation.

  • Donors must be able to donate at least 100 ounces of milk for the initial donation.

  • Milk frozen in a standard or deep freezer within the past 8 months can be donated.

  • Milk that has been expressed up until baby's second birthday can be accepted.
